All extras can be booked directly when you register. You also have the opportunity of adding services to your registration at a later date via the “My registrations” menu item. The only exception is the insurance, which can only be booked within the initial registration process.
Pre-race massage
Pick up your race material in the days leading up to the race and enjoy a 20-minute massage at the HALF MARATHON EXPO.

When you've booked a massage, you will receive an e-mail approx. 10 days before the event with a link to arrange your personal preferred date for the massage at the HALF MARATHON EXPO.
Bib number magnets

At different spots alonge the course Sportograf will take pictures of you and make this special day unforgettable for you. Secure your personal photo flat with all your photos, a 1-minute video and additional impressions of the event.
Do your best in the race and make sure that your bib number is clearly visible. As soon as your photos are online, you will automatically receive an e-mail with a download link to your photos in the days following the event.

Party
After crossing the finish line, the party really starts! We invite you to join us in celebrating your impressive performance at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON 2025. The winners will also be present and mingle with the celebrating audience.
Pre-registration is not required - everyone is welcome!

Insurance
The cancellation insurance will be processed via the product “GENERALI cancellation insurance” by Europ Assistance SA, Niederlassung für Deutschland. It is an insurance covering your participation fee in case of cancellation as a consequence of specific events. Any booked extras are not included.
The insurance can only be booked directly at the time of registration. It is not possible to book the insurance at a later time.
All information on the full scope of insurance can be found in the information sheet.
Insured events are e.g.:
- unexpected and serious illness
- Death, serious injuries following an accident, complications of pregnancy or falling pregnant after taking out the insurance policy.
- Loss of employment and subsequent unemployment due to unexpected redundancy.
- Substantial damage to your property as a result of fire, water pipe rupture, natural hazards or unlawful entry of your property by third parties (E.g. burglary) if over 50000 Euros.
- Sum insured: corresponds to the insured participation fee.
If you do not attend the planned event because it does not take place or is postponed.
Some events are not covered by the insurance. The following, amongst others, are not insured:
- If the insured person fraudulently attempts to deceive about circumstances that are relevant to the cause or the amount of the loss or if the insured person intentionally caused the loss.
- Acts of war, civil unrests and acts of terrorism.
- If the loss was foreseeable at the time the participation to the race was booked or the policy was taken out.

You must submit the requested documents including the confirmation of cancellation which you will receive when cancelling via your user account under "My registrations > GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON > Options for cancellation".
- Your original registration certificate with attachments (with details of the insurance taken out)
- The cancellation certificate issued by the organiser
- Medical certificate or suitable proof of the loss event
- Your bank details (IBAN)
It usually takes at least 14 days to process the claim.

The one-time premium is due immediately after concluding the insurance policy (binding registration for the event while booking the insurance). It must be paid using the payment method agreed upon.
The insurance cover begins with binding registration for the event, but not before the conclusion of the insurance policy. This is conditional upon your payment of the premium. Otherwise, insurance cover shall start to take effect upon payment. It ends with end of the event in question. Any risks during the event are not covered.
