From April 9 to 11, 2021, runners, inline skaters, wheelchair athletes and hand cyclists are invited to participate in the VIRTUAL GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON. This extra event is a completely independent event. It will function as a spring start as well as a bridging event until the real GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON, which is scheduled for August 22, 2021.
The virtual premiere of the Abbott World Marathon Majors Global Marathon will take place on the first weekend of May. The AbbottWMM Global Run Club event was created to motivate marathon runners and keep them in shape until the real major events can start again. Between Saturday, May 1, 0:00 GMT and Sunday, May 2, 23:59 GMT, athletes can pick the best time to complete their own Global Marathon (in one continuous activity). Athletes can choose between two registration options (see link below).
In spite of the pandemic, to celebrate our commitment to the charity idea and dedication to the enjoyment of running, there will be a virtual version of the Avon Women's Race Berlin this year. This version will be hosted from May 13-16, 2021. The official registration starts on International Women's Day on March 8th, 2021.
For years, SCC EVENTS as the organizer of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON has been cooperating with the RTL Donation Marathon. This year, starting on January 27, an additional 1,000 starting spots will be opened up as part of the "RTL Spendenmarathon für Kinder in Not" (RTL Donation Marathon for Children in Need). The cost for a race entry and the donation is 190 euros, of which 65 euros is a donation and 125 euros the participation fee.
