The Marine Corps Marathon, organized by the United States Marine Corps, is the fifth largest marathon in the United States and eighth largest in the world.
Open to all runners who are physically fit, the MCM welcomes runners from all 50 US States and more than 40 countries.
The White House, Capitol Building and the new World War II Memorial are among the landmarks on the course. Beginning near Arlington Memorial Cemetery and ending at the Marine Corps War Memorial, the MCM course winds its way through Arlington, VA and Washington, D.C. offering runners and spectators all the charm, beauty and patriotism the nation's capital has to offer.
