Arezzo, Italy – Two-time World marathon bronze medallist Stefano Baldini
of Italy and Kenya’s Rita Jeptoo took the honours in the 32nd
"Scalata al Castello" ("Castles Climbing"), road race held
yesterday night in Tuscanys city of Arezzo. It was a very hard race, as the new
course has a 250 metre uphill every lap, just before the finish line. The
course included 12 laps for the men’s race (10km) and 6 laps for the
women’s race (5km) with each lap being 830 metre long.
