On Thursday, November 8,  registration opens for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inline Skating on September 28, 2019. All inline skaters can then register for the athletic sightseeing tour through the German capital. Registration starts for wheelchair athletes and hand cyclists as well.

Minimum age for registration

Due to adaptations of the age groups by the world inline skating association last year, the minimum age for marathon participation was adjusted to 17 years (born in 2002 or earlier).

Participation fees

Our philosophy is to offer a great skating experience and good service at a fair price. Over the last few years, through process optimization, longer contract periods with our service providers and the support of our partners, we have been able to keep subscriber contributions constant. However, in order to be able to offer you a high quality event and a first-class service in the future as well, we cannot avoid adapting the participation fees due to higher security efforts, rising costs of our service providers and increasing labor costs.

The following participation fees apply for 2019:

1-4,000 participants €75,-
> 4,000 participants €95,-

Welcome discount for newbies

True to the motto \"Come on and join me!\", we are offering an attractive discount to all marathon newbies this year as well. And that means that first-time marathoner pay only 38 euros if they are recruited by a full paying registrant. The only condition: This must be the first time they will be registering for the BMW BERLIN MARATHON Inline Skating.

Adjustment of the starting block divisions

In order to spread the skaters out better on the course and to create enough space for all, we have adjusted the minimum time for the starting block B.
