The whole team from SCC-RUNNING and the editorial team wish all our readers the very best for the New Year. SCC-RUNNING would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to 140,450 participants, who had entered our 20 races in 2005. This is a new record number.

It was the first time that within one year there were more than 140,000 entries for the events of SCC-RUNNING. Compared to 2004 (129,367) there was another strong increase of participants. About 1.75 million spectators lined the roads at the events. SCC-RUNNING remains Germany’s number one road race organiser. Since the very first event back in 1964 altogether 1,533,926 athletes entered 386 events.

The new year will provide another set of great Berlin races to be run. Please see below.
